IKEA's kitchen can be completed only after four steps: 1) Planning - 2) Measurement - 3) Purchase - 4) Installation. Our common brand kitchens (Hanssem, Livart, etc.) are measured and installed by a company, so I just sit down and see if it's installed well and pay for it, but IKEA isn't.
1. Planning
It wasn't easy to plan. I'm supposed to have a planning consultation at the store, and I'm fully booked for two weeks.I looked around all three branches in Korea, but all three places are almost full-booked on weekends! I thought it would be better to go directly because it was questionable whether it would be easier to explain it over the phone. In addition, there is a problem that only residents of the metropolitan area and Busan can be constructed, so local residents may be sad.

We went all the way to Gwangmyeong and got counseling. From east of Seoul to Ikea, Gwangmyeong and Goyang are both far away.
Before consulting, you have to set everything in your mind, including kitchen size, dishwasher use, how many people, induction or gas stove, which type of hood you want to use, refrigerator location, size, and upper cabinet.
The question of how to organize the drawer was the most embarrassing. I've never thought about making a cabinet the way I want it to be. I asked him to recommend a moderate amount.

2. Actual measurement
After the planning, we have to book the actual measurement separately and settle the cost of $100. I don't understand that we have to pay the actual cost separately, but I think it's the case with the Nordic standard. Of course, it's okay to exchange it with a gift card after installation, but all we want is a cash refund, not a gift card, right? If you can´t stand the heat, get out of the kitchen.I paid for it without a murmur. The payment was made by telephone because the actual reservation, so I also made a payment by phone.
We've scheduled the afternoon of the balance to be the actual day, and the actual planner will visit at the time we booked and proceed with the actual day first. What's weird is different from what I measured.
It has been concluded that the measurement of stacking luggage is really meaningless.
Now that the installation was completed, it was regrettable that it should have been measured after the demolition was completed. When the existing kitchen was torn down, the size changed subtly, and when the hood was opened, it was inoperable.
The planner who comes on the actual day is not an employee of IKEA Korea, but a partner, so it's hard to explain the same thing again because it's different from the first employee I consulted. Also, after the actual day, the first drawing becomes useless.

In the case of my house, the length of the wall was 1 to 2cm short, but I felt that many things changed by 1 to 2cm difference while interior design. You just have to take the attitude that tolerance doesn't exist.
So, when I got the estimate for window and woodworking, I showed the kitchen drawing and consulted them to set the length in advance.
I asked the window team to install the turning door as close to the kitchen and the far wall as possible, and the carpentry team added plaster boards to increase the length.
IKEA's lower section is installed in the form of hanging on rails, so I heard that woodworking needs reinforcement, so I asked the actual planner and confirmed that it was unnecessary. But is the woodworker nervous?If you do this, it's easier to work on tiles.
Wall tiles and floors should be finished before the kitchen is installed. The kitchen can be viewed as the last step.
3. Purchase
Purchasing was also not an easy part. IKEA these are not in good supply and demand on how to manage inventory and do not know when employees will be stocked.
Everything else was in stock, but the sinkball was out of stock.
I asked the staff and they said they didn't have any warehousing plans this month, but they found some stocks in Goyang every day while checking the website! We can't trust the staff, so let's check items that are out of stock every day in real time.
The funny thing is, it doesn't deliver. What the hell?!
You have to pick it up in person, but you have to pick it up on the day you paid for it. Why?
I had no choice but to leave work in Goyang City.

You can buy it at the store, but it's too far to go to IKEA just for payment. I made a phone call and I scratched the three-month installment plan because we, KB, Hyundai Card, etc. were interest-free. It's been a month since the construction, but the kitchen is still owned by the credit card company.
The difficulty of the kitchen was that I had to finish the pre-work, but if there was anything wrong, I would have a problem installing the kitchen, so I was worried alone. I'm afraid there's something I don't know and miss. I used to sleep soundly even though I was very tired and couldn't sleep well.;;
